For the AN-100W, which have built in receivers, you may use a mic and transmitter. This will allow you to set the amplifier/speaker down in a convenient location and walk around from 4 ft. up to 200 ft. away from the Speaker, carrying only the mic and transmitter, with no long, trailing mic cords to trip you up or tie you down.

One choice is the Handheld Wireless Mic - Cat. #16018, which has a built-in transmitter. A switch on the mic allows you to turn your mic off and on from wherever you are. The mic weighs 5 oz., is 8 in. long and has a barrel approx. 1.25 in. in diameter. It uses 1 AA battery - and one will come included. The battery will give several hours of service.

Another choice is to get a Wireless Transmitter - Cat. #16016 and plug in any of our mics with a 1/8 in plug. The transmitter is 3.3 in. x 2.25 in x 1in. and weighs 3.6oz. It has a belt clip or can be slipped into your pocket. The transmitter operates on a 9 V. battery which will give several hours of service. For heavy use, you may wish to use a 9 V. rechargeable batteries and charger. See our price list for catalog numbers.

The Lapel Mic with clip - Cat. #16019 is for people with strong voices using a wireless system. We do not consider it suitable for use with an amplifier worn/carried on the person or for someone with a weak voice unless used with Boom Support (described below) to bring it to a lip-line placement. The mic weighs .7 oz. and has a 3' cord with c in. (3.5mm) plug.

We have a Boom Support for the Lapel Mic - Cat. #35012 for those who might like to have the Lapel Mic do double duty for both people with strong voices and those with voice volume problems. This is an adjustable headpiece and boom support to hold Lapel Mic to lip-line area. The stem of the mic fits into the hole at end of the bendable boom.
