Designed for speech pathologists and rehabilitation therapists to use with delayed pharyngeal swallow.

Replaces swabs, toothettes and laryngeal mirrors.

May be dipped in ice or iced liquids before use - stainless steel "holds the cold" to aid in triggering the swallowing reflex.

May be dipped in extracts to enhance sensory awareness for neurologically impaired patients.

Autoclavable. Can go in dishwasher for home use.

BITE GUARDS to cushion the shaft of the "THERMO-STIMS" and reduce the risk of tooth damage if patient bites down during treatment. Also useful on laryngeal mirrors and similar equipment. Made of Tygon Tubing B-443 (formulated for medical and food handling use), shipped clean, but non-sterile - may be washed in cleaning or disinfecting solution or autoclaved. Throw away after one use or wash, keep in a separate bag for future use with the same patient.
