COOPER-RAND

COOPER-RAND - the "old and still gold" standard intra-oral instrument. Proven durability - many C-Rs over 20 years old are still in service. Unique two-piece design, so that only the 1 oz. Tone Generator (TG) is hand-held. Uses two 9V. alkaline batteries which last 4 - 6 weeks instead of changing or recharging daily - a great asset for those with dexterity or memory limitations who need help changing batteries. Easily accessible dial controls for both pitch and volume on the top of the Pulse Generator (PG). Pocket safety clip on PG. The only AL with practical adaptations for hands-free use or for those with little or no use of hands or arms. (See AL accessory page.) Average user must replace connecting cord 2 - 3 times a year. SERVOX DIGITAL

SERVOX® digital - Two buttons and rocker dial provide versatile control of both pitch and volume. Programmable with internal switches. Uses a rechargeable 7.2V NiMH battery. Operates for several hours to a day on a battery charge. Cannot use a standard, replaceable alkaline battery but can be charged with battery in the digital without the need to open the unit and change batteries, a plus for people who have difficulty with manual dexterity or vision. Improved dual charger, with overcharge protection, accepts both instrument and a spare battery at the same time. Full charge in a few hours. NiMH battery with no "memory" problem does not require careful charge and discharge cycles. Safety cord is changeable by user.
